Yes, this is possible with CASHY. In a commission sale with advance payment, you hand over your watch to us to sell on your behalf. We will pay out a portion (50%) of the expected sales proceeds to you immediately. The remaining payment, minus our fees, will be made after a successful sale. Advance payment means that you receive your money before the actual sale of your luxury watch.

This is how it works:

  1. You send us all the details about your luxury watch or bring it directly to one of our CASHY branches.

  2. We evaluate your watch and estimate how much it can fetch on the market.

  3. We will make you an offer for the estimated value of your watch, tell you the amount of the commission fee (17%) and the possible advance payment (50% of the estimated selling price).

  4. If you accept the offer, you will usually get your money paid out within one working day (depending on the bank).

  5. As soon as we have sold your luxury watch for you, you will be paid out the remaining sales proceeds minus our commission fee.

Example:

You bring us a Rolex that you would like to sell on commission with an advance payment.

  • We estimate the value of your watch at EUR 20,000.

  • You will receive an advance of EUR 10,000 from us.

  • The watch is actually being sold for EUR 20,000.

  • You will receive EUR 6,600 less 17% commission (EUR 3,400) from us after the sale.

  • If we achieve a higher price and are able to sell the watch, for example, for EUR 25,000, you will receive a residual payment of EUR 10,750, so you always have the option of getting more for your watch than originally expected despite paying commission.

Advantages:

  • You are immediately liquid, as you receive part of the money straight away. You don't have to wait until a buyer has been found.

  • We have experience in selling watches and may therefore be able to achieve a higher price.

  • You don't have to take care of the sale yourself.

If you need money urgently, a commission sale with advance payment is a good option for you. You can still get a fair price for your luxury watch because you don't have to sell it immediately. This allows you to combine the possibility of quick financing with a serious and professional sale.

We only accept items that are fully functional and not badly damaged. As a general rule, the greater the signs of use, the lower the maximum loan amount.

We offer you the greatest flexibility with our daily billing. You can of course get your watch back before the end of the term. It is also possible to extend your pawn loan in good time.

We keep your watch safe for you in our video-monitored storage facility during the credit period. Your watch is also insured for 1.5 times its value while it is stored by us.

No, unfortunately this is not possible with CASHY. We only grant pawn loans to legitimate owners of collateral.

You have the option of extending your pawn loan during the term of your pawn loan. If you are unable to extend your pawn loan or repay it within the agreed term, your watch will be auctioned off after a waiting period and notification by CASHY. If the proceeds less the fees exceed the amount of your pawn loan, you will be paid out the difference. However, your debt is also settled if a lower amount is realized at the auction.

Yes, all customers who wish to take out a pawn loan with CASHY must be of legal age.

You can have the money for your item paid out in cash or as a transfer to your PayPal or bank account. Due to the Money Laundering Act, cash payouts are possible up to a maximum of EUR 9,999. For higher payout amounts, the difference will be transferred to your account.

Luxury watches have always enjoyed great popularity. Here you can find out more about the history of some of the brands that we accept for pawn loans or consignment sales with advance payment.

Rolex

The history of one of the most famous watch brands in the world begins in 1905, when Hans Wilsdorf and his brother-in-law Alfred Davis found the company "Wilsdorf & Davis" in London. In their company, they import and place Swiss movements in high-quality cases. In the course of their activities, they quickly realize the high demand for high-quality wristwatches.

The name: In 1908, Hans Wilsdorf registers the brand name "Rolex". A name that is easy to pronounce and memorable. No one knows exactly where the name came from, although there are some unconfirmed theories.

The breakthrough: Rolex was always innovative and in 1910 was the first wristwatch in the world to receive the Swiss precision certificate. In 1926, the world's first water-resistant watch was launched - the "Oyster". Only a little later, in 1931, the makers invented the first automatic winding mechanism with a rotor. They named the model "Perpetual".

The expansion: Rolex moves from England to Geneva, Switzerland, in the 1930s. From there, it expands worldwide and the watch brand becomes increasingly popular, as it is known for its longevity, precision and reliability.

Today: The Rolex is known to stand for luxury and success and is therefore often worn as a status symbol. Innovation is still important to Rolex. The company regularly launches new models and technologies on the market.

Famous fans: Well-known personalities and fans include Paul Newman (Daytona fan), Roger Federer (various models) and James Cameron (custom Rolex Deepsea).

Conclusion: Rolex can look back on an impressive history of over 100 years of innovation and success. The models stand for precision, luxury and reliability. Rolex watches are highly sought after by pawnbrokers, not only because of their popularity, but also because of their high value. Pawnbroking can be a quick solution for financial bottlenecks, and a sale on commission with a 50% advance is also possible.

Patek Philippe

The history of Patek Philippe begins in 1839 in Geneva, Switzerland. The company was founded by Antoni Patek and Adrien Philippe. Their collaboration led the Polish watchmaker and businessman Antoni Patek and the French watchmaker Adrien Philippe to create one of the most renowned watch brands in the world.

The name: Unsurprisingly, the name of the famous watch brand is made up of the two surnames of the founders. Adrien Philippe is also known for having invented the winding mechanism without a key.

The breakthrough: Although Patek Philippe wins a presentation of its watches at the Great Exhibition in London in 1851 and wins Queen Victoria as a customer, the big breakthrough comes much later. The Stern family rescued the company in 1932 with a share purchase, laying the foundations for its later success. The breakthrough only came in the second and third generation.

Well-known models: Two of the best-known models are probably the Nautilus and the Calatrava. While the Calatrava is known for its simple aesthetics and as a classically elegant model, the Nautilus impresses with its sporty and elegant design. Watch models from Patek Philippe are extremely popular with collectors, as they repeatedly achieve record prices at auction.

Famous fans: Well-known personalities and fans include Brad Pitt (penchant for high-quality timepieces), Ellen DeGeneres and Paul McCartney.

Conclusion: Patek Philippe stands for exquisite craftsmanship and manufacturing with the highest precision. This brand is particularly interesting for pawnshops, as many models were produced in limited editions and are therefore significantly more valuable. As Patek Philippe watches hold their value very well, they are suitable both as collateral for bridging shortages and for a consignment sale with a 50% advance.

Audemars Piguet

Audemars Piguet was founded in 1875 in Le Brassus, Switzerland. The company's founders both come from watchmaking families and bring their expertise to the company

The region has always been a center for the manufacture of luxury watches, as its resources provide everything the industry needs.

The breakthrough: The company achieved great fame shortly after it was founded. Its "Grande Complication" pocket watch won the Paris World Exhibition in 1889. Just two years later, the makers produced the world's smallest movement in a minute repeater bracelet.

Cartier

Cartier was founded in Paris in 1847. Originally, Louis-François Cartier's company was known as a jewelry house. It was only later that Cartier expanded its range to include luxurious and stylish watches with innovative technology.

Famous models: As one of the first wristwatches, Louis Cartier designed the Santos for Alberto Santos-Dumont. An iconic watch with an elegant design, it is known for its pioneering spirit. Inspired by tanks of the First World War and known for its refined timeless style and rectangular case, the Tank watch was also introduced in 1917.
