The most frequently asked questions to CASHY
A car or motorcycle pawn loan is a so-called short-term tangible asset loan. You use a vehicle or several vehicles as a pledge for cash or the transfer of a sum of money to your account.
Example: You make an appointment with CASHY and use a car as collateral for a sum of money for a period of 90 days. At the end of the agreed period, you can extend the pawn loan for your vehicle for a fee or redeem it.
The fees for a pawn loan of up to €300 are set by law:
€1.00 per month for a loan up to and including €30.00
€2.00 per month for a loan up to and including €50.00
€2.50 per month for a loan up to and including €100.00
€3.50 per month for a loan up to and including €150.00
€4,50 per month for a loan up to and including €200.00
€5.50 per month for a loan up to and including €250.00
€6.50 per month for a loan up to and including €300.00
From a pawn loan of €301.00, the fees are based on our fee schedule.
In the following example, we will show you how high the fees are for a €300.00 pawn loan with a 30-day term and how they are made up:
Loan amount: € 300,00
Interest: € 3,00
Business operation costs: € 6,50
Total fees: € 9,50

Please note: A pawn loan is suitable for short-term bridging due to the short term of 3 months. In our example, the interest is 1% per month (12% per year) and the operating costs are €6.50 per month (€78 per year). For example, if you were to keep renewing your pawn loan with a term of 3 months and reach a total term of 1 year, the fees would be as follows:
Loan amount: € 300
Interest on the loan: € 36
Operating costs: € 78
Total fees for 1 year (term not offered in this length): € 114,-
The monthly custody fee for cars is € 90, which corresponds to an annual fee of € 1,080.
We only grant pawn loans for vehicles that are in working order.
Unfortunately, you cannot pawn leased vehicles or vehicles that have been financed by the bank with CASHY.
The following original documents must be deposited with CASHY: Vehicle registration certificate, registration certificate part I+II (vehicle registration document), valid TÜV sticker, duplicate key purchase contract, confirmation of registration, official photo ID
A valid MOT sticker is the basic requirement for obtaining a car loan from CASHY.
