With a pawn loan, you receive a loan and give us collateral during the term of the loan. CASHY accepts collateral such as electronics, jewelry, luxury watches, designer bags and many more.

Yes, at CASHY you will receive a loan on the same day if you bring your collateral to one of our stores and we can accept it. You can see how much money you would receive for your collateral on our website.

The monthly interest and fees are made up of the manipulation fees and the monthly interest of 1%. For a pawn loan of up to €300, the manipulation fees are set by law:

€1.00 per month for a loan up to and including €30,
€2.00 per month for a loan up to and including €50,
€2.50 per month for a loan up to and including €100,
€3.50 per month for a loan up to and including €150,
€4.50 per month for a loan up to and including €200,
€5.50 per month for a loan up to and including €250,
€6.50 per month for a loan up to and including €300

From a pawn loan of €301,- the fees are based on our fee tariff.

In the following example, we will show you how high the fees are for a €300.00 pawn loan with a 30-day term and how they are made up:

Loan amount: € 300,00
Interest: € 3,00
Business operation costs: € 6,50
Total fees: € 9,50

Please note: A pawn loan is suitable for short-term bridging due to the short term of 3 months. In our example, the interest is 1% per month (12% per year) and the operating costs are €6.50 per month (€78 per year). For example, if you were to keep renewing your pawn loan with a term of 3 months and reach a total term of 1 year, the fees would be as follows:

Loan amount: € 300
Interest on the loan: € 36
Operating costs: € 78
Total fees for 1 year (term not offered in this length): € 114,-

A pawn loan is only possible with collateral. However, at CASHY you have many options for taking out a pawn loan. We accept a wide range of pawned items, such as electronics, jewelry, designer bags, tools, cars and much more.

Items such as clothing, furniture, bulky goods (washing machines, refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers) or weapons cannot be pawned or sold at CASHY.

The minimum amount varies depending on the type of item. Fill out our online form to see which minimum amount applies to your collateral.

The CASHY stores are located at 2 locations in Germany:

If you would like to send your collateral to us, the fee for this is €5.

The shipping company is liable for a maximum of EUR 520 if your collateral is damaged during transport. To ensure that you are always on the safe side, you should make sure to pack your collateral carefully or bring it directly to our store. Please contact us if you would like to insure your collateral additionally.

We keep your collateral safe for you in our video-monitored storage facility during the term of the loan. In addition, your collateral is insured for twice its value while it is stored by us.

While your pawn loan is running and your collateral is stored at CASHY, it is insured for 2 times the value of the device.

The term of your pawn loan is always 90 days. After the expiry of your pawn loan and a 4-week grace period, your collateral will be liquidated in your best interest. You will receive three notifications until your collateral is liquidated by CASHY. If the proceeds from the liquidation exceed your outstanding loan amount, you will receive the surplus. However, if the liquidation proceeds are lower than the outstanding amount, you are no longer liable to pay. This means there is no additional risk for you.

If you extend your pawn loan, you will be charged a small partial amount. This is made up of the interest and fees that have accrued up to the date of the extension. You can also check your fees online in your account at any time.

If the value of your collateral has fallen sharply during the collateral loan term, you must make a corresponding partial repayment.

If you repay the outstanding amount in our store, you will receive your collateral back immediately. If you repay the amount online, you can choose whether you want to collect your item from the store or have it sent back to you.

CASHY only requires an official photo ID from you if you want to take out a pawn loan.

Your personal data will never be passed on unless you give us your express permission to do so.

If you are unable to repay the amount borrowed for your collateral and are unable to extend your pawn loan, your item will be auctioned off. If the proceeds exceed the amount of your pawn loan plus fees, you will of course be paid out the difference.

You can have the money for your item paid out in cash or as a transfer to your PayPal or bank account. Due to the Money Laundering Act, cash payouts are possible up to a maximum of EUR 9,999. For higher payout amounts, the difference will be transferred to your account.
